All were easily found in Word Magic app, which is an Apple universe only app - that one includes examples of use, interesting phrases and quotes using the target word. In comparison, this is almost a joke. Good thing it is free. The Detect language automatically option, available in Word and Outlook on Windows, detects the language that you are typing and automatically enables the proofing tools for that language. If you don't have that language already installed you will need to download the free Language Accessory Pack. See Language Accessory Pack for Office. Detect language automatically.

I have my whole Mac in Spanish, which is every application in Spanish, but I want Microsoft Office 2008 (or at least just MS word) in English because when I write in English it spell checks it in Spanish and tells me I am misspelling all of the English words. What settings do I have to go to in order to change just this program to English—or at least just the spell check to English?

Office Button > Word Options > Popular Tab > Language Options (Last one (It’s a button))

you can also change the spelling dictionary to English. I believe it is under “Auto-Correct…” in the menu.

EDIT:
That’s where the editing language is chosen, as well as the default.

With Office 2011 for Mac, you can check spelling and grammar in languages other than English. Word 2011 for Mac comes with foreign-language dictionaries such as Czech, French, Russian, and more. The default dictionary determines which language’s proofing tools Word uses for spelling and grammar.

You can change Word’s default language dictionary:

  1. Choose Tools→Language.

The Language dialog opens, and you see a list of languages.

  2. Select the new language to use and click the Default button.

Microsoft combat flight simulator for mac. Microsoft combat flight simulator free download - AirFighters - Combat Flight Simulator, Tactical Air Combat Simulator (TACS), YS Flight Simulator, and many more programs. Although the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator for Mac has never been released and the choice on macOS is limited, there are some incredibly good flight sims available nowadays on Mac. Nowadays you can make them feel even more realistic on Mac with real flight simulator controls on Mac such as yoke controllers, rudder pedals and even flight switches too.

  3. Click Yes to change Word’s default spelling and grammar checking language to the language you selected.

  4. Click OK to close the Language dialog.

There may come a time where you want to use a different language for only a portion of your document. You can also use the Language feature to change the language of just the selected text:

  4. Click OK to close the Language dialog.

  5. Choose Tools→Spelling and Grammar.

The selection will have a different spelling and grammar language applied to them and will be checked against the proofing tools for the language selected using the Language dialog. The rest of the document will be checked against Word’s default spelling and grammar language.

Making these modifications to the Language setting doesn’t change the language that’s used for the Office interface. If you want the entire Office interface to be in a particular language, you have to purchase and install an Office version that’s customized for the particular language you want to use.
